"Nothing in science is an ancient true" is inspired by the american philosopher Pierce. Bestard re-elaborates on ideas from the pragmatism. In this particular painting he ponders about the spiritual side of the human being. Even when science is the "king" of our nowadays cultures, there are inputs that push us to connect with something beyond our understanding. Acts like kneeling, or praying, are something very ancient that science can not explain by itself.
