This year marks the debut of the Mokum Award, an initiative founded by Wackers director Karina Mol and gallery owner Rutger Brandt. Galerie Mokum will select one outstanding work from the Wackers graduation exhibition to be showcased at the Summer Exhibition. The Mokum Award will become an annual tradition that aims to support and enhance the visibility of emerging talent from Wackers Academy.
The award is presented to Mark Roggeveen. With a background in Graphic Design, Roggeveen creates acrylic mixed-media pieces that combine his skilled painting techniques with graphic and illustrative elements.
