From 26 September through 24 January, Stadsmuseum Harderwijk presents the solo exhibition 'A life in pastel ' by our artist Onno Boerwinkel. Celebrating his 75th birthday, the exhibition looks back on forty years of working with pastel.
In atmospheric drawings filled with light and movement, he captures the beauty of ordinary, intimate moments. Many of his scenes are set in Italy, but he also finds inspiration close to home, in his children and grandchildren.
'A life in pastel' offers a personal overview of the oeuvre of this remarkable pastel artist and of forty years of working with pastel.
